Bowel Bacterial Overgrowth

It’s not normal to be constantly belching after you eat or develop a huge belly that prevents you from being able to button your pants.

It’s more than just a “sensitive stomach”.

Even though SIBO (or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) seems to be on the rise, many conventional doctors don’t recognize the symptoms and the potential causes.

If you have constant bloating immediately after eating, along with belching, excessive gas, diarrhea or constipation, abdominal pain and nausea, you may have this condition.

Any time I see a patient with these symptoms, I search for the cause.  After a thorough history, physical exam and appropriate functional medicine labs, diet is a necessary part of the healing protocol.
