Medical Massage Briefly, this evaluation-based manual therapy heals many common, painful joint and muscle problems ranging from sciatic pain to plantar fasciitis to frozen shoulder. Medical massage can be effective for any part of your body including the spine, neck, shoulders, hips, arms, legs, hands, and feet. Keep in mind, medical massage often is more effective than prescription drugs, because therapists apply therapy directly to the areas of your body that need help. Plus, we can do something for you that no drug can: rebalance your musculoskeletal system. Like having your car aligned, rebalancing your body’s muscles and joints brings everything back into balance. When your body’s overall balance improves, your spasms and pain will disappear. Medical massage is given under a doctor’s supervision. At Healing Unleashed Health Services we have a physician on site: Dr. Wanda Bedinghaus.Back to top Orthopedic Massage Also, orthopedic massage helps you recover from an injury and helps prevent injuries.
